____Recorded with handheld ELF/VLF devices, 'The Luminiferous
____Aether' documents low frequency audio signals which originate
____from the streams of charged particles that reach the Earth's ____atmosphere through the Solar Wind, giving rise to the Aurora ____Borealis and other magnetic storms. With temperatures dropping
____to minus 50°C, the field recordings of Solar radiation were made ____during three consecutive days and nights outside of a small village
____in the remote Yukon-Koyukuk region (the Arctic Circle, Alaska).
____The 32-page appendix sets out to explore electromagnetism in a ____broader context; combining photographs from the journey with ____theories of consciousness, scientific accounts and the interpretation
____of natural phenomena in folklore and myths from the Northern ____hemisphere.
